Avenue Suites Appart hotel

The room is spacious. Bathroom is a bit old and could have been kept better, but overall it’s a nice room for the price. However the reception though is a totally different story. Very rude and racist if you ask me. So I guess asian customers aren’t welcomed here? When we came here there was quite a frenzy of checkin which is totally fine but the receptionist did not even bother to look at us and acknowledge our arrival😅 when it’s our turn (two people) to check in, he just took my passport, asked me, “only one person?” 😅 No sir my boyfriend was standing right next to me with a giant backpack he ain’t sleeping on the street? The check-in process took a long time with no explanation, no eye contact, nothing. I felt very appalled and almost as if it was intentional (I hope not). Every time we had to go in and out of the hotel the reception just treated us as if we did not exist. I’ve stayed at other hotels & airbnbs in Casablanca and across Morocco; ever for much lower price the service was never this bad. Not asking for a lot, just to be treated decently.

In my life, I ‘ve never had such terrible experience which we didn’t even have clean sheet and pillow cover even we asked for it. When we arrived at the hotel, it was late evening and the rooms were not ready. The staff said that they would try to find the clean ones but they never found them. Finally, we had to sleep on the dirty bed with dirty pillow.Moreover, The noise from a hammer upstairs stays until 3am. It seemed that someone fixed something in the building. compared to those, the smell from the strong decoration smell is nothing to complain!

Do not recommend. In the rooms are no towels, in the kitchen are literally empty drawers, everything is dirty. I hink that this place works like brothel. White stains on whole sofa, burnt chair even though it's supposed to be non smoking and nothing except the bed inside. This hotel was the only option for us since we came late at night but it was big mistake.
