Great value for money at this gem of a hotel! I needed a convenient place near the airport that wouldn't break the bank. Avidon Art & Design Hotel was perfect and far exceeded my expectations. It was easy to access from the train line, and the furnishings and amenities were top notch. The place is in great condition and very clean. Would recommend!
Great location, fantastic room. Perfect for a short stay in Dusseldorf. Fantastic location, very central, beautiful room. I used it as a day room and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Lots of transport options within a few mins including a train station that is one stop from the airport. Some pubs etc next door plus a bar onsite.
There was no one available to speak to for any inquiry. The What’s App number given was not responsive. The lights in the bedroom were turning on and off, and I sent a video of that to the WhatsApp app number and requested to change the bulb; however, no one came to do that while we were there. We stayed there for 12 days. The heating did not work very well. The parking was free with plenty of space, which was good. There was a tight lift. At some point, there was a smell in the corridor and in the room, which was not good, and we had to open the window to circulate the air. The price was high, although it was understandable as it was at the time of the exhibition in Dusseldorf. Unfortunately, no twin beds were available, and I had to share a bed with my colleague. Overall, I will only go there again if I have and if nowhere else is available. I recently stayed at Avidon Apartment in Dusseldorf for 12 days, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. There was no one available to address any inquiries, and the provided WhatsApp number was unresponsive. Despite sending a video of the bedroom lights turning on and off and requesting a bulb change, no one came to fix the issue during our stay. The heating system did not work well, making it sometimes uncomfortable. On a positive note, the parking was free and had plenty of space, which was convenient. However, the lift was quite tight, and there was an unpleasant smell in both the room corridor and the room itself at some points, forcing us to open the window to circulate the air. Although the price was high, it was understandable given the exhibition's timing in Dusseldorf. However, the lack of twin beds was disappointing, and I had to share a bed with my colleague. Overall, I would only consider staying here again if I had no other options.
