Avra Spa Hotel

One of the best experience! The staff is exceptional and tentative at all times. Clean and spacious triple room. The best part of our stay was the spa with thermal jacuzzi/pool. My son and I had an amazing time. Best choice!!!

Excellent hotel. Comfortable beds. Will definitely be back again

One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed. We were 2 couples having reservation for hotel rooms, massage and thermal spa. Our reservation was 3 weeks prior to our stay. On the day of arrival we received a text message that the massage service was not available due to personal reasons of the masseur. After checking in, we were informed that also the spa pool was not operating due to technical issues. When we complained to the manager and owner, a terribly rude one, instead of excusing and apologizing he started shouting and cursing that it wasn't his mistake and he couldn't do anything else. When we informed him that the service of his hotel is terrible and that also the massage was cancelled, which - as he said - he didn't know (!), he started smashing things. We felt being assaulted and bullied. We were at the verge of calling the police. The solution of the hotel was that if we were not satisfied. we could cancel our reservation and find a new hotel without cancellation fees! This when everything was fully booked in a range of 50 km due to carnival celebration. All in all, a terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. To answer to the reply of the hotel. The excuses are false. The person who was intimidating us was the Romanian who has leased the hotel. He was together with the person who tried to fix the broken spa. Once we told him that we were dissatisfied with the services of his hotel, he started shouting. One more detail of the behavior of the “tourist” was that when we informed him that the masseur was not available as well and we were informed the last moment, he took the promo stand of the massage service which was on the front desk and he smashed it. He started shouting in Romanian to the lady at the concierge. So much for the so called “tourist”. The reply of the hotel clearly shows the insincerity, to say the least, of this hotel. Once again, the worst experience we have ever had with the most unprofessional personnel.
