My wife and I had the most beautiful stay at Awatara Boutique Resort in Ubud. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that made us feel completely at home. The resort is peaceful, beautifully designed, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. A special thank you to Nouman and his entire team for making our stay so seamless and relaxing. This was one of our favourite stays in Bali, and without a doubt, we’ll be coming back here again to relive the warmth and hospitality. If you're visiting Ubud and looking for a quiet, romantic, boutique experience — look no further.
We stayed at Awatara Boutique Resort for 3 nights while we were touring various islands in Indonesia. It is small and quaint, clean, and we loved the outdoor shower! The food at the restaurant is incredibly good and the staff are very caring. I had a bad toothache during my stay, and two of the staff were kind enough to take me to the dental walk-in clinic nearby and stay with me to assist/translate during my appointment. We definitely recommend this hotel because of the care and attention given to their guests!
I stayed for two nights. The WiFi wasn’t working from the moment I checked in and was still down the next day. It was very frustrating, especially since I couldn’t connect with my family back home. The room was spacious, but there was no bath mat in the bathroom, which caused water to spread into the room every time I came out of the shower. There was no creamer provided for coffee, and when I asked the staff, they simply said they didn’t have any and didn’t seem willing to help. Breakfast had very limited options, and the reception desk was often unattended—I had to go looking for someone whenever I needed assistance. As a frequent traveler, I’m honestly confused and still can’t believe I stayed at a 4-star resort.
