It was truly an AWESOME hotel experience! We booked our rooms through Agoda, and thankfully there were no issues — everything went smoothly. The staff were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, with complete amenities. The beds were spacious, and there was even a comfortable couch in the room. The pools were well-maintained and suitable for all age groups, and we especially enjoyed the jacuzzi at night. While some areas were still under construction, it wasn’t disruptive at all (2023 visit) The restaurant had a great ambiance, and the food was delicious — definitely a highlight of our stay. *not recent*
The 2 days spent here was relaxing and welcoming. The Staff here are always greeting you treating you like honored guest. It all started with check in with Shaina and check out with Mary Grace. Both Ladies very professional but also fun to talk with. If you are looking for a hotel to spend some time it's here.
We recently stayed at Awesome Hotel La Union and found the location and overall ambiance to be great. The staff provided good service throughout our stay. However, the in room food was just okay—nothing particularly special, and a bit pricey for the quality and taste. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. It was generic and at times chaotic, which fell below my expectations—especially after reading previous reviews that praised it. I was hoping to enjoy local La Union breakfast specialties like dried fish, but instead, we were served the usual bacon and sausages. The standout was the ham, which tasted homemade and was quite good. The coffee was also excellent. One thing we noticed was that the infinity pool—normally a highlight for its beautiful beachfront view—was partially obstructed during an event. Tents were set up directly across the beach view, which took away from the relaxing experience the pool is supposed to offer. The pool hours are from 8 AM to 8 PM, and beach access is from 6 AM to 6 PM. We found ourselves wondering what guests are expected to do after 8 PM, especially since there’s not much else to do on-site at night. It would be great if the pool hours were extended at least until midnight. Also, there’s no shade by the pool from lunchtime until sundown, making it quite uncomfortable during peak heat. During our stay, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake occurred while we were on the 5th floor. The staff appeared nonchalant and there didn’t seem to be a clear emergency response protocol in place. This is definitely an area where the hotel can improve. On a positive note, the sunset view from the property was absolutely perfect—a definite highlight of our stay. Overall, we had a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement in food offerings, safety protocols, and the handling of public spaces during events.
