We had an absolutely wonderful stay at AX ODYCY Malta! The hotel itself is beautifully designed—modern, clean, and thoughtfully laid out with stunning views of the sea. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities throughout the hotel were top-notch. A special mention must go to Mary Fernandez at the reception desk. She is an absolute gem—warm, professional, and incredibly helpful. Her kindness and attention to detail truly made a difference and added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated. One of the highlights for us was the kids' pool area—our little 3 years old absolutely loved it! It’s fun, safe, and perfectly designed for children to enjoy themselves while parents relax nearby. If we had one small suggestion, it would be to offer complimentary bottled water in the room on a daily basis. It would be a thoughtful touch, especially during the warm Maltese summer. We highly recommend AX ODYCY to anyone visiting Malta and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

Exceptional Stay at AX ODYCY Hotel I recently had the pleasure of staying at AX ODYCY Hotel, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The room was beautifully designed—luxurious, spacious, and equipped with all the comforts one could ask for, making my stay truly relaxing and memorable. What stood out the most, however, was the dining experience at Deck & Keel. The ambiance was stunning, and the food was absolutely delightful. Even during busy hours, the service remained top-notch, thanks to the exceptional leadership of Restaurant Manager Mr Jeffrey Gauci and Shyam Singh Karki and supervisors Bhawani Chaulagain, Dulal Hussain , JIT Bahadur Thapa and mirage Hussian with gracious host Sunita Dahal . Their team went above and beyond to ensure every guest was well taken care of, delivering a seamless and luxurious dining experience. A heartfelt thank you to Mr. Bhawani and his dedicated team members—Jayanti, Rita, Basanta, Buddhi, Bishal Naheema —for their professionalism, warm hospitality, and impeccable service. You truly made our stay special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking comfort, elegance, and excellent service.

The hotel itself is beautiful and very large, with truly stunning views. Pools: The rooftop pool is great. It would be perfect if people didn’t “reserve” sunbeds with towels — even though there’s a sign saying it’s not allowed and that towels will be removed, that rule is not enforced. As for the rooftop pool, one downside was the strong smell of cooking coming from the kitchen area nearby. It often smelled like fried garlic or other food, which was a bit unpleasant when you’re trying to relax by the pool. The pool on the second floor without kids - also great. Food: Out of 7 days, there was one day when it was genuinely difficult to find something to eat, but on the other days, the food was good. Tasty and with a wide variety of meats and sides. I have a sensitive stomach and dietary restrictions, but I always managed to find something suitable — which I really appreciated. I wish there were avocado slices available like there are cucumbers — that would’ve been great. Coffee in the main dining area isn’t good, but in the espresso café it’s excellent. Room: The room was fine. Huge thanks to the guy at reception who allowed us to check in before 3 PM. We even had a small sea view, which was probably the best part of our stay. Iron in the room was a big plus — really convenient and not something every hotel offers. When our shower drain got clogged and the water wasn’t going down, we reported it to the reception — but no one came to fix it for a day and a half. The biggest downside was seeing a cockroach in the restaurant during breakfast (a lovely birthday gift). We were getting tea in the morning and saw the cockroach crawling across the tea and sugar station. It completely ruined the experience. When we reported it to the manager, we were given a bottle of wine worth €3.5 and a bottle of water as an apology. Honestly, that kind of response does not match the level of the hotel. On a positive note, the room was decorated with balloons and a “cake” made from towels for my birthday — that was a nice touch. Another disappointing thing was that no breakfast box was provided for early check-out. I understand that not all hotels offer this, but we paid for breakfast and were leaving at 5 AM — it felt unfair and not guest-friendly that we couldn’t get anything in return. We were told that only all-inclusive guests could access the 24/7 bar for food, but for half board guests, there was nothing. This was my first stay 28.07-04.08.2025 at a hotel of this level, and unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. I expected more for the price — around €220 per night… and a cockroach 🥹… Overall, I’d rate it as average. But I wouldn’t return — mainly due to the service, or rather, the lack of it.
