Axor Barajas

Conveniently located near Barajas airport. Nice spacious room. Plenty of elevators. Hotel airport shuttle was great. Across the street there were a lot of taxi’s available. Friendly front desk staff.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience here. Avoid at all costs ! Saw a bed bug when I checked in, informed the hotel reception and got an “Oh.” in response. No apology, no offer to change the room. I had to request for additional sheets and pillow covers. When the housekeeper came, she let out a sigh and dumped the clean sheets on my baggage which was obviously dirty from the traveling, and asked me to change them myself. It didn’t stop there, opened the fridge and a pungent odour came out from it. Why? Because it was mouldy. Stains stains everywhere ! On the mirror, on the door knobs and handles, on the glass door, on the basin, on the toilet flush. I didn’t check into this hotel to clean it for you, Axor Barajas. Utterly unacceptable !

We were sent to this hotel due to a flight delay, and the staff moved with the speed and attitude of the sloth from Zootopia—only without the charm, kindness, or empathy. They would disappear into a back room to make photocopies, dragging every movement with what felt like deliberate sluggishness. After waiting for an hour and a half, we were told the rooms had run out and were then redirected to a random nearby hotel, again with zero courtesy, as if they were doing us a favor. The next day, when we returned with questions, the staff remained just as indifferent and unhelpful
