Ayurvie Weligama Ayurvedic Retreat

We stayed at Ayurvie in Weligama for 4 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. The resort is beautifully situated with breathtaking views of the ocean and what feels like a private beach just steps away. It’s the ideal place to unwind and recharge. The vegetarian food was absolutely delicious—every meal was fresh, healthy, and full of flavour. The daily routine of yoga in the morning and meditation in the evening added to the calming experience, and the Ayurveda treatments were a great addition. The staff provided brilliant service throughout my stay—attentive, friendly, and dedicated to making sure everything was perfect. Ayurvie combines stunning natural surroundings with exceptional hospitality to create a relaxing haven. I can’t recommend it highly enough for anyone seeking peace and wellness in a spectacular setting.

My experience at Ayurvie Weligama was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, the service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive. They made me feel at ease right away. The doctor was especially lovely. She took the time to thoroughly understand my needs, tailoring my treatment to target specific areas for improvement. It felt deeply personalized and authentic. I was fortunate to have Sriyani as my therapist throughout my stay. She was not only incredibly kind and sweet but also radiated a positive energy that truly enhanced the entire experience. Having the same therapist for my entire treatment journey added an extra layer of comfort and trust. Sriyani worked closely with the doctor, ensuring that my treatments were continually adjusted to suit my preferences and needs. The yoga sessions were another highlight. They were not only excellent but also profoundly authentic. I looked forward to each morning’s class, where the teacher dedicated time and care to explain every movement of each asana. I appreciated the attention to detail, as it helped me learn how to perform the asanas correctly to maximize their health benefits. My only piece of feedback would be that the property could benefit from a refurbishment. Although the location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a prime setting, I felt the rooms didn’t quite match the high standard of service. That said, the exceptional service and overall experience far outweighed this small aspect. I left Ayurvie Weligama with a warm feeling in my heart, and I will definitely be returning. It was a memorable and rejuvenating experience.

This was my first retreat so I was pleasantly surprised by the love and welcome of the entire team. The country has been through a lot so there are some small issues which can be improved but overall a wonderful experience and I will be back. We visit the warmth of the people, not only the bricks and mortar.
