AZ Hotel & Suites

I had to renew my passport and needed somewhere close to the US embassy. This place was perfect, walking distance and the staff was great and the room. Definitely recommend and stay again we go in feb!

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel. The rooms are simple but welcoming and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. Only one staff was less accommodating (seemed to be the chef of admin). To elaborate, my breakfast is included in our booking, however when I wanted to order an extra toast, she wanted to charge be 1500 cop for each toast and to be exact thats about 50 cents Canadian each while the other staff looked like they just wanted to give me the toast. I mean ok fine charge me for everything but i mean it’s just a piece of toast which made the whole experience like they were frugal. I also bought an avocado and couldn’t finish it and asked if they can help wrap it with plastic wrap so that I can keep it and the same lady looked at me like she wanted to charge me… for a piece of plastic… however since it was the last end of the wrap, they didn't charge me lol. Anyways, the rest of the staff is super nice except her.

I live in US and stay at many hotels in Colombia and this is the first time I get charged taxes on my stay even though I show my US passport as an ID, besides that I asked for a receipt or a form of proof that I made that payment and I was told that was not in the system that they will send it to me. My sleep was good bed is confortable room size is decent kind of tight, bathroom was good but the towels had a funny smell and where very very hard. Overall NOT recommended there are many choices.
