Seriously amazing location, the hotel is very neat and clean. Rooms are lovely, staff are well trained and friendly. Very helpful. They offer great service. Very thoughtful of them to decorate the room for a birthday. I would reccommend this hotel🥳. Activities for kids as well as a huge pool. Walking deck to watch the sunrise. Loved everyday of it. Food is variety for breakfast n dinner. Loved everything. Stunning views.

This is a stunning resort, we had the best 7 days there. The room was perfect, the view was incredible, and the staff was so helpful. The location was just what we wanted, quiet and secluded. The resort is also not as big as some of the others we have looked at. We will definitely be back very soon. Thank you Azao Resort and spa for a dream vacation. I would highly recommend this resort.

By all means... this is not a 4Star hotel!!! It's not a hotel. May be a small resort with spread out cabin like rooms. It's very outdated resort, with old bathrooms containing cockroaches on death row. The staff come by everyday around 7:30pm to bug spray the room. It doesn't have a beach like other resorts I stayed in previous to this trip in Nungwi 😍. Please see other reviews which I failed to do before you choose this place. Just remembered the 20 minutes water cut-off during my shower at 10:00pm. That happened once. I stayed there between 5-9 Aug. 2025. Was not that pleasant stay.
