Azimut Hotel St Petersburg

What a great hotel to stay for business. The staff were friendly, respectful and attentive. The rooms were clean and had the necessary amenities. Might be strange to some, but I had one of the best meals in Russia in the hotel restaurant. The train station is a short 5 minutes walk away.

I stayed in a standard room and it needs a little remodeling, but it was still good for one night. The staff is exceptional, very friendly and professional. I had space with breakfast and I was surprised by the number of options it had and everything fresh and delicious. I would definitely stay here again if I come to St.Petersburg.

1. Inefficient Air Conditioning: The air conditioning in the room was not functioning effectively, which made the stay during the hot season extremely uncomfortable. 2. Unhelpful Front Desk Staff: When I reported the issue to the front desk, the staff were unhelpful and unwilling to resolve the problem. My request to change rooms on the second night was ignored, and the service was extremely slow. 3. Long Waiting Time at Reception: There were too few staff at the front desk, leading to long queues and unnecessary delays. 4. Unauthorized Room Entry: The maintenance staff who came to check the air conditioning entered the room without waiting for my permission. This was a serious breach of privacy. 5. Unprofessional Maintenance Staff: The technician appeared annoyed, dismissed the issue, and was unable to communicate in English, which made the situation worse. 6. Cramped Bathroom: The bathroom was very small and uncomfortable to use. :The sink drain is clogged. 7. Poor Housekeeping Service: Towels were not replaced and trash was not collected during my stay. 8. Unfriendly Attitude of Housekeeping Staff: The staff responsible for making up the extra bed seemed unhappy and performed their task with reluctance. 9. Limited Dinner Options: The dinner buffet offered very limited choices, which was disappointing. 10. Elevator Problems: Several elevators were out of service, and the ones that were working were very slow. Some required a key card, which frequently malfunctioned. 11. Wet and Unclean Breakfast Plates: While the breakfast selection was varied, nearly all the plates were wet and poorly cleaned. 12. Free Wi-Fi is available, but you must register your phone at the front desk. However it is too slow
