This is a very nice hotel but the staff are just amazing. We stayed here during the 2024 solar eclipse with a large tour group. It is difficult to handle the sudden arrival of a large group but the staff were so helpful and they could serve a large group in the restaurant. The rooms, the little nice things they provided, the amazing staff, they deserve 5 stars.
The highlight of our stay at Azul Country Club was the convenience of being right next to our event venue and the nice, spacious, and cozy rooms. They even accommodated us with a crib, which we appreciated. However, the service could use improvement. The restaurant and bar staff often seemed to forget about us, resulting in poor service. Additionally, we asked the front desk (a male staff member on duty on Dec 21 at 8 PM) to freeze a milk bag for our baby. The next morning, as we were checking out, we discovered they hadn’t frozen it. While the front desk person at the time, Marchget, tried to offer a quick ice solution, it didn’t quite work. Although we appreciated the attempt to help, this experience left us disappointed. Overall, the rooms and location were great, but the service needs more attention to detail.
Very clean and nice room. The restaurant for breakfast was not easy to access. Anyway, Azul is a nice hotel!
