Azura Beach Resort All Inclusive Adults Only

Azura is a quaint all inclusive resort on a beautiful property. The food and drinks were delicious, and the service was great. Our room was clean, and it had a sweet little ocean view. The pool and beach were never crowded. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Live music that kept us company at dinner but didn’t drown out the dining experience. We had good experiences with all the employees we interacted with. Housekeeping, Room Service, Concierge, Gift Shop, Grounds Keeper, Maintenance, Kitchen Staff, Waitstaff, Bartenders, and Desk Staff were helpful and kind. We would definitely come back. We came for rest and relaxation, and that is what we got, and you will too. ENJOY!

The staff is wonderful. We stayed in the Villas resort, all cabins. There is also the newer hotel rooms in the Azura hotel. Our villa had an ocean view which was very pleasant. A mango tree outside our room provided fresh mangos. The buffet restaurant food was very good and the staff is amazing. Thank you to Christian for his friendly service and welcoming demeanor. He looked like he was a manger but informed us he was not. I noticed the service was better when he was on duty. The concierge staff of Luc and Wendy is fantastic, arranging meals, room concerns and tour plans. They are wonderful. We are here for another week and welcoming the additional time on the resort. If you want a nice hotel stay, pick the Azura accommodations. If you want a more laid back private villa stay, pick the Villas. The restaurants are all really good, unfortunately we are only allowed 2 restaurant a la carte meals per week. The Chill and Grill is great, steak and seafood. The Asian TAO restaurant is wonderful as well. We still need to try the Italian Bocato restaurant. The menu looks great. So far we love the area. A bit laid back from what people tell us compared to Tamarindo. Nice dark sand beach here, 30-50 minute walk along the beach to Samara town. Great restaurants in town. More great restaurants long the beach. The Italian Gusto restaurant on the Sámara beach is amazing with a fun beach atmosphere. Enjoy! Pura Vida!

Worst resort ever. Wouldn't really even consider it a resort. More like a 2 star hotel at best. I've stayed at better and more friendly Motel 6 in my journeys. Customer service was just awful. Especially the front desk workers and associates. The amenities were far and in between. The restaurants had pretty much the same food just named different. The swin up room didn't even have water that came up to the room. The landscaping had more weeds than shrubs. There were crawling insects in the room. Mosquitoes so bad that you almost had to have a bee keeper outfit on. The front desk workers and bell hop people were of no service and not interested in helping in anyway. Very rude. Most definitely wouldn't recommend unless it was for someone I didn't like or wanted to play a prank on!
