B & B Hotel Vista Linda Montaña

Stayed for three nights with the family. Peter and Renata were the perfect guests- so helpful and wanted to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Lovely garden and pool area, so relaxing. Price was good,rooms were clean, breakfast was perfect. Fully recommend.

15 minutes north of the San Jose airport (SJO) we found this little jewel of a hotel. We were greeted with smiles and departed with coffee and hugs from our hostess Renate (at 5:00 a.m. no less!) The breakfast (~$15) was delicious, the beds comfortable, the grounds lovely and the people friendly and helpful. The room being a little warm without air conditioning is our only rating of less than 10!

The place is really convenient, at only 15-20min by taxis from International airport of San Jose. Close to many tours around of Coffee, Poas Volcano, easy drive to the ferry in Puntarenas... Super clean and comfortable bed. Not noisy for being so close from the airport, super green garden and little pool to get refreshing. Nice breakfast which is good value for money. You have all you need in the center town of Alajuela (banks / Restaurants / Market...) and if you do not have a car it's easy to get taxis as well as order food delivery. And on top of that amazing service, Renata and Peter are super friendly, really nice people, you feel like in a family. We can only recommend it and we will come back ;-)
