I loved my stay here! The staff were amazing, the room was really comfy and clean, and we were made to feel really welcome here. Breakfast was great every day and we were a 15 minute walk away from the city. I’d definitely come back again next time I’m in York! Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made our time so wonderful, particularly the staff serving breakfast. You guys rock!

This was our fifth visit to this excellent establishment and again we left delighted. The location, with free parking with a direct booking, is brilliant with the City and all attractions a fifteen minute walk away. Our room was luxurious and well-appointed with a large comfortable bed and good bathroom. We enjoyed our breakfasts, the 'Full Yorkshire' setting us up for the day and beautifully cooked. The staff were uniformly cheerful and friendly and we shall definitely return.

I stayed here 2 nights in mid June this year (2025). I had a car and parking was readily available. The room was comfortable and clean in a quiet street. The staff were quite friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Many choices available made to order (I had eggs Benedict) with excellent coffee, juices etc. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the city center. Only negative comment I have is that if you have a heavy bag try to make sure you’re not in the second floor. Overall very satisfied.
