B bou Hotel Cortijo Bravo

My husband and I got married at the Cortijo Bravo on 2nd July 2025. We could not recommend it enough as a wedding venue and also as a place to stay! We had an amazing experience there from start to finish - the rooms were beautifully furnished and impeccably clean and the grounds of the hotel were absolutely gorgeous. The wedding venue part of the hotel is separate from where the rooms/restaurant are and therefore your wedding experience is very private and also the general guests staying at the hotel are not disrupted by weddings that are taking place. The staff all across the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful! We especially appreciated Paula at reception and the bar staff during our wedding - they could not do enough for us to make our wedding and experience at the Cortijo Bravo amazing. We stayed at the hotel the night of the wedding and so did some of our guests and we loved everything about the stay, especially the breakfast and the beautiful scenery and pool! The Cortijo Bravo deserved 5+++ stars!!!

We got married at Cortijo Bravo in October 2024, we had exclusive use of the hotel for 4 nights with 40 of our closest friends and families occupying the 21 rooms. To say it is a magical place is an understatement. This place is like something out of a fairytale, and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. To start with the hotel itself, it is a sophisticated, beautiful Spanish style decor throughout the hotel, with elegant rooms (most with some sort of stunning view or terrace to look out to the nearby avocado and olive grooves). Don't even get me started on the bridal suite, the most beautiful terrace to wake up to on the morning after our wedding! The restaurant has amazing food, we were not disappointed by a single meal. Breakfast has a generous breakfast bar, and the lunch and dinner are incredible too (doesn't hurt that you are sat on their terrace overlooking the entire city of Velez Malaga below the mountains!). Then for the outside scenery, just breath taking views in all directions, you don't even know where you look at it's all so beautiful. The staff and hotel team went way above and beyond to accommodate to our every need throughout the wedding, the staff are all extremely professional, and very warm and friendly. The welcome tapas meal for all our hotel guests were a brilliant mix of creative Spanish dishes, the wedding meal was unbelievable (almost all our wedding guests commented on the food being a highlight), and the BBQ at the hotel for all our guests was a massive selection of incredible bbq meats, salads, and a Spanish gazpacho. They truly outdid all of our expectations. Thank you so much to the team at Cortijo who made our wedding unforgettable. If you are thinking about booking your wedding here, don't think twice, it will be the best decision you could make.

We stayed at this hotel to celebrate our daughter's wedding. The location, views and quality of the hotel is amazing. Would definitely recommend for any family celebration and or wedding. The staff are helpful, polite and professional. The quality of the food at the wedding was great and can't thank the staff, and event organiser enough for all the help and support. My only minor criticism is related to the buffet food at the wedding, which was taken away very quickly and not seen again. The food should have been available for longer and or made available later. The hotel is very much four stars, but the breakfast needs to be improved. When you pay 250€ a night, you expect a much better selection and quality of food. The menu option limited and very poor. When we visited to find a suitable wedding venue, we were in awe at the suites on offer and booked the junior suite for 2 nights. The room we stayed in was not the suite we were shown when we visited and was really quite basic. We didn't get what we payed, for but did have a memorable and pleasant stay.
