Baan Boa Resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Baan Boa. It is directly across the road from Patong Beach so I enjoyed taking a morning walk along the beach. It is a bit of a walk to Bangla Road but that a plus as you will be out of the noise and traffic. We walked daily to the restaurants and even to the Boxing stadium. Also all the tours picked us up directly from there.. There was a none stop supply of Water, toiletries, coffees & tea daily and great breakfast. Every was perfect from a 5 until money went missing from our room but I know it is our fault as it was not in the safe. I did not make it spoil my trip.

Location is perfect, right in front of Patong beach. We got a room with pool view but they offered a free upgrade to the sea viewing one, which was amazing. Room very spacious, clean and with all amenities needed. Breakfast was okay, nothing fancy but do the job. And it is from 6.30am, great for those like me, who has early tours. Pool is lovely, water is a bit chilly but very refreshing. They offer free pool towels, ask on reception. There is a tour agency besides the reception. We book our taxi to the airport and everything went well. Very convenient. Female receptionist with very little English. We tried to explain an issue with the light inside the wardrobe that would not turn off but it was unsuccessful. Eventually I managed to turn off myself. Internet is awful. Doesn’t work properly inside the rooms and keeps breaking up the connection.

Paid for the premium room with sea view. Mattress was so uncomfortable you could feel the springs, woke up with bad back every morning bathroom only had a small bath with shower attachment. Having the sea view and balcony was nice.
