Baan Chaweng Beach Resort & Spa

Thank you for a calm stay at your hotel. The accommodation at renovated room was beyond expectations. Beach, pool and the resort surroundings were totally clean. The staff members are very kind. The breakfasts were sufficient. There are many options for massage services (hotel SPA, beach). We felt very welcomed and would love to come back. We had the chance to meet the owners of the hotel resort and the encounter was very kind. We wish a lot of satisfied customers.

excellent hotel with spacious rooms, most of which are in the form of bungalows with an excellent location inside, a large area, extremely modernly furnished, especially several of the newest buildings that are run at an executive level. Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff who you can turn to at any time and immediately receive truly first-class care. The place is wonderful, the beach is great on one side, the sea on the other side, central on a city street but with enough distance so that you don't hear absolutely any noise, as if you were in an Oasis. I highly recommend it to everyone, even to people who have higher demands. The place is excellent and wonderful for a vacation, just two minutes from the largest center, which includes a shopping complex, restaurants and cafes. And the main street itself has countless cafes, restaurants, massage studios and all kinds of necessary things, including mini markets almost at the entrance to the hotel, extremely convenient and great for a vacation and spending your vacation.

My boyfriend and I were looking forward to staying in this hotel but unfortunately our stay did not live up to our expectations. Several aspects of the hotel were disappointing and left us feeling frustrated throughout our time there. We checked in to the hotel at 20:00 and were immediately greeted by an unclean room, with towels on the floor, unflushed toilet and sand on the floor. It took the staff about 30 minutes to clean the room, which was very unwelcoming. At this point, we just wanted to take a shower and call it a day, however, the nightmare continued. Instantly after turning on the water at the shower, a strong sewage smell appeared which made the already unpleasant experience unbearable. The next morning, we wanted to give this hotel another chance, so we moved to a different room. Upon moving, we were greeted by dozens of mosquitoes in the new room, what a pleasant surprise. Moreover, the safe was not working and the soap dispenser was broken. To our disappointment, the strong sewage smell was present in this room as well, which made us believe that this was a ‘hotel’ problem and not a single problematic room. It should be noted that throughout our stay, the staff was very unwelcoming and super unhelpful. They were very obvious when explaining the fines for losing the room key (1000 baht), or the towel card (200 for a piece of paper?!). However, apparently trying to help their guests is beyond their job description. Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel. There are plenty of places with similar location and price. Do not repeat our mistake.
