Baan Hinlad Home and Hostel is a hidden gem! If you are looking for a tranquil, laid back experience on Koh Samui, this is the place to stay, as other parts of the island can get very busy throughout the day and night. The rooms and common areas were very clean. The shared patio offers a gorgeous view of the lush jungle greenery and is a comfortable spot to just sit back, relax and do nothing. The Hin Lat waterfall trailhead is just a 1 minute walk away, and Lipa Noi beach, where you can watch the perfect sunset is just 2 kilometres away. There are plenty of bicycles available for complimentary use. We maximized our stay by exploring the area by bike, however, be prepared for the island’s hilly terrain, you may find yourself walking up and down some of the hills. Our host, Anjar was amazing, he is super friendly, and was very attentive to our needs. I highly recommend staying here!

Really nice place to stay, situated right next to the water fall and surrounded by nature and the jungle. Rooms are pretty basic with bunkbeds, but are comfortable, not that this matters too much though as there is a nice spacious terrace out the back where you can relax with great views. There's a nice seating area with free tea, coffee, water etc. The owner Anjar is a really nice guy, very friendly and extremely helpful. He dropped is off at the pier when we were leaving, and gave us loads of recommendations for our future travels. Would definitely recommend this hostel!

AMAZING! This place makes the whole experience in Koh Samui so much nicer! It's super clean and comfy. The terrace with a garden view is the best way to start your morning. Anjar is the coolest! Best host ever! There you have free cold/hot water, microwave and toaster. There's a supermarket nearby, so you can buy groceries for breakfast. Also, you can use their bicycle for free. And Anjar can pickup and drop off at Nathon pier, if you ask him in advance ❤️
