Lovely place, staff is friendly, nature is vivid and colorful. Make sure to stay in a bungalow just by the beach in order to get that experience with outdoor shower, private beach and romantic sunset views. This is a place to relax and just be with amazing views, sun and beach during the day, eating at the same restaurant for all meals during one day... (and in Thailand I haven’t visited a place like this but here. ) Definitely worth a visit. All pics are taken on the island by the resort.
The location is very good due to not far from the center of the city and spend time from airport about 45-60 min. Depend on traffics on that time. The sea is in front at the hotel and in island has only two hotel that mean is very quiet, if you like it stay far from the other people. My type room is front beach, the bed is comfortable but air-condition is too loud and the open air bath room so quite dark at night, but overall it ok. During i am living in the hotel about 5 meal, food is very delicious and fresh but it is not various. Worth with the money that i spend for 3Day 2Night and if you like to stay far away to other people and not far center of Phuket i recommend you to go and if i have opportunity, i will be back this hotel 😉
A peaceful and relaxing place. When the tide is in the beach is quite beautiful and good for swimming, and at low tide the (cleanish) pool is a good alternative. The staff are also friendly and helpful on the whole. There is really not much to do in the island, and we practically got eaten alive by insects when trying to relax/sunbathe. If you want to escape during a time when the boat isn't running, it costs an extortionate amount of money. The food is also vastly overpriced, and don't expect much choice if you are vegetarian. The electricity was off from 11am until 5.30- 6pm everyday, and it was difficult to get a straight answer out of them as to why this was (even when my sister in law asked them in Thai), so we figured it must be to save money. One night the electricity went off at 3am and didn't come back on until 6 the following evening. The bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable, it felt like the mattress was about 20 years old. Not recommended if you have any sort of back problems! Baan Mai is probably a good place to come if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle for a couple of days, but more than that and you might start to go slightly mad.
