Lovely hotel, decorated beautifully inside. Room was cosy and very clean. The service was great throughout our stay. Food was good, we also ate out. The spa is by far up in the top ratings, lots to do in there. I was impressed with the singular stand up and bed jacuzzi s, the ice room was a first for me. Long steep hill to walk down to the centre and shops but nice buildings to see on the way. Advise getting a cab back .
Lovely hotel and we had a great stay. The spa was beautiful, with a great variety of experiences - sauna, steam room, ice room, etc. Great location, 5 minute walk to the quay front. Found the room and bathroom quite small, and the bed comfort was average. Drinks were quite pricey but I guess that's to be expected at a spa hotel! Overall a great stay and would stay here again.
Appaling... We called ahead of arrival due to a major accident on the roads and traffic to make them aware we were going to be late. And asked about using the spa and pool, we were told by the receptionist that there was no problems and we could still use the spa once we arrive and we could also use it in the morning... Got there and no they would not let us use the spa, they also tried charging us £30 for late check out to use the spa the next day. Because apparently once you check out at 9am you can not use the spa/pool facilities. So again the receptionist lied. What a con.. and why dont the staff know their jobs and what's available when? Or is that part of the con of taking people's money and offering things that aren't available and making rooms look big in photos to get them to pay out thinking they are getting something. Special when a premier inn room is twice the size. Even the other hotels nearby offered better options and rooms. We paid for one of the expensive rooms and it was small and cramped, bed was uncomfortable and we would have had a better service and offer at a premier inn. We will definitely be going elsewhere next time. Never again and will be warning everyone else and never recommending
