A small hotel, with nicely equipped rooms at a very good price. The best thing about it is the reception staff - absolute sweethearts, very kind, very helpful. Rooms are very nicely furbished, look new and modern. Beds are quite comfortable and the location is definitely privileged. My room overlooked the Selimiye mosque, so views were stunning, but it might be a bit tricky to get taxis to drive you there - if they refuse, try the taxi stop on the other side of the mosque and it's a 2 min walk. There is quire some noise coming from all the tourists buying sweets from the shop in the hotel building, especially during the weekend so napping during the day is a but complicated unless you keep all the windows closed. As other users say, there is no lift, but it's just one flight of stairs so not really a problem. Cleaning might need some more attention as there were fluffs around the room when we first entered, but other than that, nothing major. Breakfast is a bit odd - you get an unlimited supply of coffee, tea, bread (no toaster though), butter, jam, honey and boiled eggs and a tray with olives, a tomato spread, cheese, nutella, chips and half a fried sausage with the strangest colour I have ever seen, but you can have a decent breakfast with it and after all it is already included in the price which is by no means excessive, so i'd say you can't ask for much more anyway. In summary - I would recommend it and again a bid shout-out to the staff!
Location is great, all basic amenities are there. The receptionist was very helpful in bringing our bags to our room(no lifts here!) and friendly, but the cleaner was terrible. Gave her a tip to change our sheets and blankets, only to come back to a room not cleaned and she left the clean sheets for us to put it on ourselves! Hope the new management will look into professional cleaners as the stay was all good except for this part which I think is not acceptable!
It was a nice place—clean and calm. The staff was friendly. The location was excellent, and I loved the view around the hotel ❤️
