On the plus side, rooms a good size and clean. Views were excellent and very pleasant. Location was good but needed a car. Beach and beach club only ok - plenty of better beaches nearby. On the negative side, the property was VERY tired. Common areas were very rundown - a distinct lack of care. The whole property could be very good in the right hands. We got mixed reception from staff - some were very helpful and nice, others gave mixed messages, little help and did not want to deal with situations. Rooms offered a kitchen, but many things missing. No kettle (eventually got one from reception), no toaster (forget it!), nothing to clean dishes etc (housekeeping don't clean items, but we eventually got cloths and detergent from reception), no wine glasses, no coffee machine (really? In Italy?), EUR 5 for a beach towel (including changes), yet they change bathroom towels every day even when we hang up) - I really don't understand the very poor management of this property. There are many small things that can make this place better. The restaurant was unexciting - what limited food choices for dinner were good - but worth one visit only at best. Beach bar food was terrible - for example, lasagna heated up in a takeaway container that was still cold in the middle - don't bother.
outdated and unkept with rude staff if you dared to point out the issues of these room. When i told them that the rooms are unkept even if they cleaned daily, the hotel manager told me to take it with the cleaning staff because they were romanians as us. I don’t think the cleaning staff is responsible for room renovation because whatever was their responsibility was clean. there were dead mosquitos on the walls and on the curtains (which i don’t think have been washed since they were bought) The walls were dirty of various stains, the terrace doors did not close properly so a lot of insects came inside. The furniture was old but the mattresses were old and used as well. I think I saw my grandma’s ghost in that poorly lit bathroom. i understand that they wanted to keep the original style of the hotel, fine, but the rooms need new wall paint and proper lighting.
This establish is completely fraudulent. They claimed that they would reschedule our dates after contacting them days before we needed to check in as a result of being sick and unable to fly. After many attempts and a lot of wasted time, it turned out impossible to even contact them or make any arrangements with them as they do not answer their emails and they don’t change anything over the phone. This lead us to losing all our money for the 4 nights we booked. The customer service is a complete atrocity. Booking tried their best to get the hotel to refund us the money or change the dates without any luck. If you are unsure of your plans or fear being sick then don’t book with them. Absolute nightmare.
