My stay at Bahia Principe was nothing short of exceptional. The resort offers a remarkable culinary experience, with a wide range of dining options that cater to every preference. Each meal was both satisfying and memorable. The service deserves special recognition—the staff are genuinely attentive, kind, and dedicated to creating an unforgettable guest experience. Celebrating my birthday at the resort was truly unique, as I was surprised with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a heartfelt song from the team, adding a personal touch I will always remember. The daily schedule of engaging activities ensures that every guest can enjoy both relaxation and entertainment, with opportunities to connect and share in the joy of the resort atmosphere. Bahia Principe is the epitome of excellent hospitality, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious yet vibrant getaway.

We had a really nice stay. The staff is friendly, the food is good and the activities were fun. The room was clean and the grounds well maintained. They are regularly doing upkeep. The water at the beach isn’t clear but it’s nice to swim, sail or kayak in. Good temperature for us and our kids. We feel well rested.

The beach was nice without seaweed. The rooms are dated. There was lots of dust on the light fixtures. We had cockroaches in our room. I had booked a king room and a double bed room. They only gave us a room with two double beds. The tv didn’t work and they never fixed it after I told them it didn’t work. The power went out at least a dozen times in the evenings. The buffet was mediocre. The same food was served. The restaurants get booked so quickly but they only have 6 tables available even though there are many other tables available to accommodate lots of people. They also restrict how many reservations you can make. For an 8 day stay, we were only given 4, but we were only able to use 2 because they were always “sold out”. It was very frustrating. The beach was nice, but very murky and water wasn’t clear. The pool was nice and deep which we liked. Overall, the experience wasn’t great and I wouldn’t go back. I’ve been to several all inclusive resorts and this resort would go at the bottom of the list. There are a lot of nicer properties that don’t limit the restaurant reservations and have better buffet options. It was the same thing pretty much everyday. We won’t be coming back.
