10 day holiday with husband and daughter, nice area, nice apartments. Breakfast Buffet was excellent, lots of choice and various dietary needs met. Kitchen Basic but ok Bathrooms adequate Apartment could do with a freshen up though
Gorgeous place. Only 2 of us stayed here for 9 nights. Place is so clean and tidy. We stayed B&B and the breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Waiting staff kept everything refilled, clean and tidy. There was an egg station where you can specify how you’d like your eggs cooked, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit etc etc We went end of April and during the day could hear a little bit of noise from other villas and we said we would not won’t to go during school holidays as it could be very loud as the pool area echoes quite a bit. There are 2 supermarkets within a 5 minute walk from the complex. There is also a restaurant called Buddha that is amazing which is about a 10 minute walk. If you don’t fancy the long walk to the main strip then a taxi costs between 8-10 Euros depending where you’d like to be dropped off. We got dropped at the Rock Cafe which is where one of the taxi ranks is and then wandered down to Music Square. Would definitely return for another stay here.
I really wanted to give this resort a high rating — the staff were kind, courteous, and clearly hardworking. However, a series of small but significant issues added up to create a disappointing experience. We rented a 3-bedroom Royal Villa for a family stay, but unfortunately, the first day was marred by loud jackhammering and construction noise. Our villa was located right next to an active construction site. Not only was our private car park unusable, but construction workers frequently passed by, often peering into the villa — which compromised our sense of privacy. To their credit, the staff quickly relocated us to another villa. Unfortunately, it was a clear downgrade. As compensation, they offered complimentary dinners and drinks for the remainder of our stay. However, we were still charged for the drinks — and the food was not that good which, made the offer feel disingenuous. On the positive side, the villas are clean and generally well maintained. Be aware, though, that using the outdoor grill incurs an additional £22 charge, which feels excessive given the already premium rates. In summary: the staff are friendly, the gym is adequate, and the villas are clean — but beyond that, the resort falls short in value and overall experience.
