Excellent resort. The staff, especially Thai who works at the front desk, as a tour guide, and in the restaurant is excellent and so personable. The food is delicious at the hotel and the rooms were really comfortable. Highly recommend staying here. You are also near the pagodas which have to be visited at night.

Just left after a 3 night stay in one of there duplex apartments and the first thing I will say is that the people were so so friendly and lovely and I cannot fault them however I will be honest about a few other factors as I use reviews myself and feel it’s important. We did the army jeep tour which was fun so I would recommend that. They took us out to the rice fields and basically into the small countyside towns. Our tour guide from the resort was so lovely he even took us for some draft beer on way back which was fun with the locals! My kids tried the lotus flower support food which we found kids picking from the water and they loved it! Great experience all round. Our duplex was lovely but definitely needs updating especially the bathroom., Very used and tired. The shower holder stand which had the shampoo and wash soap tipped as it was balancing on one screw! And in turn, breaking one of their bottles and they charged us for it! I mean it was a yo-yo shelf so I’m my eyes an accident waiting to happen! So be careful. I feel it’s very important to mention that the gym is a tired old outdoor gym that you will not want to use and is nothing like the photos. I think the gym was in a different location when they took those photos. Very misleading. Food wasn’t great either to be honest but I guess that’s a personal opinion. Even chips were not great and my veg noodles were simply plain noodles and simple carrots and cabbage on the side. Maybe chef was off that day? Spa is cheap and cheerful…I had a back massage which was ok but room was a bit damp and the oils used didn’t really smell nice. Again lady who did the massage was lovely. Location is in middle of nowhere apart from a few attractions but to be honest cabs are not expensive so you don’t need to be close for that reason, it’s not your able to walk anyway. Oh and lastly if your travelling with kids please note they do not have crisps or snacks and things to buy so maybe best to stock up. Also they don’t give you conditioner. I have two girls with long hair so no conditioner for 3 days was not great so had to buy. Hope some of you find this useful. I feel it’s important to be honest in these reviews. On a positive note though the staff were all amazing and kind and our apartment was nice apart from tired bathroom and a few leaks around windows and stuff. For a few days it didn’t bother us.
