We stayed here for two nights in July 2025 and we found our stay to be very good. The room was spacious for our family of four. The onsens were large and relaxing. My favorite part of the stay though was definitely the food! It was so good!

Nice Ryokan with decent service, Onsen has nice view of Mt Yufuin, though I did wish they would switch the male & female public onsens from night to day so overnight guests can experience both with different views. The traditional slippers paired with the Yukata are quite hard to walk in, and for moving about the premise such as climbing up the hill to public onsen, feels like you can lose your balance & hurt yourself if you’re not extra careful. Maybe switch to slip-on slippers instead? Breakfast is alright, nothing much to scream about. Open Bar is a nice concept that I think resonates well with many Korean guests. I personally loved it! For the price, I think it’s alright. Though walking out at night can be scary if you’re not eating dinner here as this Ryokan is a little far from the train station and from the touristy area-Lake. Do remember to bring a torch if you go out at night.

The room is very spacious and having the family bath is great for two women traveling with an 8 year old. Since there was no bath in our room it would have been hard to stay otherwise. Actually is was a huge rotenburo with a big washing area and waiting area. Probably the biggest family bath I’ve seen and no charge!
