Let it be said, now and in time to come, that our stay at this establishment was marked by warmth, by dignity, and by excellence. A few days ago, we arrived—not merely as travelers seeking rest, but as guests in search of a welcome. And a welcome we received. The check-in was not a transaction—it was a greeting of sincere hospitality, extended with grace and good cheer. The rooms stood not only large and clean, but spoke to a standard of care that honors the spirit of service. In the restaurant, we did not simply dine—we experienced. The cuisine, presented with skill and flair, surpassed many fine offerings in town, reminding us that greatness often lies in the unexpected. And the service? Let history record that it was nothing short of excellent—attentive, thoughtful, and unwavering. We have since continued to the Grand Hyatt in Melbourne, but we carry with us the memory of a stay that was more than pleasant—it was exemplary. And we are grateful.

This is my first time staying in Bairnsdale overnight and I am so glad I chose this hotel. The room was very clean, and spaceous. The bed was very comfortable. I do wish the pillows were a little bit softer, but honestly the bed was still so comfortable. The staff were lovely, I checked in very late and they were super helpful on the phone before and the instructions at reception that were left for me were great. I will definitely stay again.

So happy and impressed with the service! Highly recommend!! After driving 5 hours behind the slowest drivers in Australia and getting stopped by multiple road blocks, finally getting to Barnsdale international was a relief for both myself and my very full bladder. I had called ahead and asked for after hours check in Eli was very helpful on the phone and explained the steps so clearly. So when I arrived it was easy enough to find the lock box and get my room key. The letter they left was very helpful with more steps on how to find my room with ease, instead of having to wonder around doing the pee dance finding my room I was able to get to my room within minutes. The letter was not just helpful it was also amusing with great humour!! The room looked fantastic, very clean and well decorated. Shower was a great with perfect water pressure and the soaps smelt soooo good!!! Checking out was so easy and once again Eli on reception was very lovely and great to have a quick chat with (sorry if your coffee got cold by the way haha). Will definitely be booking in here again when visiting family down this way.
