Booked the house by calling the owner, which was very easy and friendly. We went for a little trip up North in Portugal, and spent a night in Murça. Due to the fact that it was winter the fog is constant, making the place very misty and beautiful. There was a white frost everywhere. The house itself was very well prepared with all the necessary amenities and a fireplace, which makes you stay at home and enjoy a night inside. For summer there is also a pool.

The owner has lovingly & thoughtfully transformed these old houses into unique and comfortable lodgings. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of it all. Would definitely return if I have the chance and stay longer.

Wow, wow, wow in every single detail. The property consists of carefully restored, village stone houses. A lot of great local food at low prices to buy at the reception. Nice pool with a view to village and mountains. The only prb is lack of a restaurant. Good place to visit Douro Valley or just to have few calm days.
