Bakers Retreat

We travelled to Tasmania for a little family getaway . We have three children under 5. This house has plenty for the kids to keep them entertained/ good layout. This house was extremely clean and comfortable!! Will not disappoint. The host Michael gave us a quick tour and rundown when we arrived , and made us feel so welcome and we knew we could contact him via phone at anytime if we needed. The communication from booking til departure was clear and easy. There were the little things already in the house to make our stay so much easier . Tea / coffee / milk and even a fresh loaf of bread / cookies / butter / spreads etc There was lots of linen/ towels (more than enough) also soap/ shampoo and conditioner. If you are considering Bakers Retreat , do it! You will not be disappointed. We will certainly be back.

This place has been well thought out. Home away from home and hotel combined. Parking off the street in locked carport. Nice spa and BBQ area. The kitchen was great with smeg appliances. Being from Melbourne hubby loved the coffee machine. The supplied bread fruit loaf and milk were great as well as butter and spreads. Heaters in all rooms. Robes in the wardrobes. Plenty of room for your clothes. Huge TV with plenty of streaming services. Computer also available. We spent a few rainy days in Hobart but had plenty to do in the house that keep us entertained. The spa bath in the bathroom was great too. The only negative the shower leaked a little with the door closed but there were plenty of towels to soak it up with then they dried quickly on the heated towel rails.

We had a wonderful weekend at Baker's Retreat. The house was absolutely delightful - everything we needed was there and everything was clean and tidy. There were games for the kids and they loved the outdoor cubby house. The setting was very serene and peaceful. We were contacted by Michael prior to our arrival and check in was made simple. He also communicated with us around our departure and made everything easy. We will definitely be staying again next time we are in Hobart! Thanks for a lovely stay Michael.
