Balansat Resort

It's not often I put out straight fives on my reviews. We have just spent a splendid week at BR. Every child we saw seemed to have a smile on their faces. I'm not surprised having seen the activity pool for younger children and the main pool for the older kids. It seems to be there is an activity for all ages. The adult pool area is specifically for 16+. It is a very tranquil, restful area. The entire staff only want to help make your holiday as good as it can be. The food served up at mealtimes is of a very high standard. I have stayed at many holidays with different providers. The food and variety of dishes is splendid and is a credit to all concerned. The rooms are well kept and very comfortable. Reception proved to be extremely knowledgeable and again were happy to assist with any queries. I would advise any holiday maker to speak to reception before making any trips away from the hotel. The bus service is very cheap and on time, the times we used it. €2.90 for a trip to Eivissa one way. Eivissa is a lovely city with a wealth of cultural attractions. I can't believe how clean it is kept. Thank you BR for a top class service.

Spent a week here in July 25 with my 12 year old son. Most people seemed to be all inclusive but we went self catering. We did pay to use the buffet one evening and one morning and it was standard 3star food so I was pleased we did SC. Having said that, the facilities in the room are very basic with very limited utensils and only a microwave and 2 ring hob. The staff in the hotel are all very friendly and the cleaning of the room was good. The air conditioning in the bedroom was really poor so it was hot in the night. The hotel has a nice adults only pool and a little splash park and a main pool which isn’t too big and can become crowded. The animation team seemed to make a good effort. The beach is really close and is nice enough although there are nicer and clearer elsewhere. The main drawback is that with a small selection of restaurants there is nothing else to do in the evening, nowhere wot really walk too or shops. So if quiet (dead) is what you are after then this place is fine but if you like a nice evening walk, meal and drink then elsewhere would be better.

The resort is beautifully located and very nice if you want to enjoy a quiet and comfortable vacation. The service provided by the staff is outstanding and they do whatever it takes to make you feel at home. The points of improvement are mentioned by others as well. The rooms are rather noisy with moving chairs and loud conversations. The food sometimes is lukewarm and so it the shower, which is not a bad thing as the tempuratures outside are really nice. The pool for 16+ is really nice and quiet and if you don't like that you can also go to the wonderful beach just next to the resort. So biggest improvements that could be made is noise reduction in the rooms and the maintenance details in the rooms. To end on a positive note. I would definitely return to this resort, as the atmosphere was wonderful.
