Balcona Hotel Da Nang

Our stay at the Balcona Hotel Da Nang was absolutely fantastic! The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Tara, who consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—her genuine care and attentiveness truly stood out. We also appreciated the manager of the morning buffet, a kind and helpful gentleman who always greeted us with a warm smile and excellent service. The hospitality here is unmatched, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Da Nang!

We stayed there for two nights before leaving Da Nang. The hotel has the top location on the front line and near all the bars, restaurants and SPAs, with a great sea view. We booked the room with the sea view exactly for having an option to wake up and enjoy the sunrise. The room was spacious enough, with a comfortable bed and armchairs (probably it‘ll be nice to add an extra armchairs and a coffee table on the balcony). The bathroom has both tub and shower, although there was a small piece of mold under the shower door. The breakfast was nice and various, although the breakfast room was a bit crowded. There’s an infinity swimming pool with a gorgeous view, but it may be too cold to swim if the temperatures are low or it’s cloudy and windy. If it’s cold, then the nicest time to swim is in the morning when the swimming pool catches some sun. They provide extra towels for the guests in the swimming pool area. The most important thing in the hotel is its staff. Everyone was extremely friendly, they allowed us to register much earlier, so we were able to give all the important information about us in advance and then simply bring our luggage from another hotel when the checking in time came. We also were able to store our things before leaving Da Nang quite late in the evening. Thank you! 🙏

The cleaners were very nice cleaning our rooms everyday, but that's it. I will write all the bad points below: 1. The air quality in the room will make you sick, I stayed here for 7 nights without any sickness and after a week I'm very sick due to my allergies with the dust and curtains. 2. We complained to the staff about it on the 2nd day but the manager didn't show up, although because we will checkout earlier he's got the time to talk to us and my partner was very mad due to the quality of service they gave us. He didn't bother to try changing the room. 3. A four star hotel that doesn't have a soap or shampoo holder ahahaahah. 4. Bed bugs, I got 3 bites for 7 nights I slept their, luckily I always have my ointment with me. 5. The towels are always dirty white or one towel is not white or quite old. 6. The staff who went to our room to check my problem even said no changed room. Wow, they should've try their best if it's possible to change the room in a day or 2. They even went back to our room to tell us because we will be staying for a long time they gave us some fruit instead of solving the existing problem. I'm really hoping that this hotel will care more about their guests with special situation or needs because as a person with dust allergy, what if it gets worst and I need to go to the hospital, will they pay for the bills? Be careful next time Balcona!!! And sorry because I cannot recommend you to anyone!!!
