Bali Palm Resort

Came on a "flash sale" and despite being cagey about this were pleasantly surprised at our lovely studio above the pool and the beautiful setting. No beach but we knew that and the pool is awesome. Service excellent and Dave's sales pitch on timeshare was low pressure and financially attractive. So very happy with our 7 night stay.

The hotel located right at Candidasa central, perfect getaway from down town hussle. Only 1.5 hour ride from Denpasar. The hotel was hype in the 90s but they renovated the building, you can still see some 90's building style but hey! they are unique and vintage now Room is spotless, AC worked perfectly, they clean the pool everyday. The beach is the highlight, you can unwind at the sun bed by over looking the ocean and island view. Bfast is superb. They serve a complete and scrumptious bfast Staff is responsive, kind and welcoming. Overall, it's perfect getaway at Candidasa if you bring family or just your own

Not for young families This is a retirement home, we were the only people under 60 the entire 2 weeks we stayed here. Our kids splashing in the pool and playing around was met with alot of judgemental eyes from the other guests. Apart from alot of confusion on almost everything due to the language barrier, the staff were lovely and were great around the kids. The dive shop is closed and looks like it has been for a long time so all activities linked to the dive shop are not available anymore. The “sports room” (games room) doesn’t exist and when we asked reception about the shuttle bus service the response was “oh no shuttle bus but i can call you a local taxi”
