We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and we had great experience. We family of 4 were booked in Deluxe family room big enough and spacious. All our needs and request were attended to by the excellent staff at the reception. The room was next to the pool on ground floor with nice outside porch seating added comfort of being outside. We had breakfast all days at hotel while we were there and food was excellent with lot of options both local and western. We also dined at the restaurant 3 nights and the staff was really friendly. The pool was excellent. We never had difficulty finding lounge chairs as there was plenty of room and not so busy. I would stay again if I go to Bali again.

The lobby of Bali Rani Hotel is quite nice, with peaceful fountains and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were super helpful and genuinely kind, which really stood out during our stay. However, the rooms are very outdated, and ours had a noticeable musty smell. There was quite a lot of mold in the bathroom, which made it feel uncomfortable and poorly maintained. The breakfast had plenty of options, but it was not the best we had in Bali. The quality was a bit disappointing compared to other places we stayed. That said, the hotel is very well located — perfect if you want to be near shops or need to catch a flight, as it’s just a short drive from the airport. It can work for a quick one-night stay, but for anything longer, I’d look elsewhere. The staff do their best, but the rooms really need attention.

We ended up at Bali Rani Hotel due to a flight delay—not by choice, but by circumstance. The stay was okay, though not particularly memorable. The pool area is peaceful and quiet—great if you're after relaxation, but maybe a bit too calm if you have energetic kids who want to splash and play. The rooms and furnishings are outdated and worn, clearly in need of an upgrade. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the location is a big plus—just a minute’s walk to Discovery Mall, money changers, marts, and local shops. The breakfast buffet was fine—not amazing, but enough to start the day. One thing to note: there’s no proper gym. Just a single treadmill and a stationary bike tucked away—not what you'd expect if you're looking to get in a real workout. Would I return? Unlikely. For the price, the value just isn’t there.
