Baltazár Boutique Hotel

One of my favourite hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The room was beautiful, all the staff were lovely and breakfast was great. It is so peaceful here but there are lots of restaurants within walking distance and it is very easy to get into the city centre. They really went above and beyond to make the room special for my birthday and we had an amazing time. We hope to be back when the new apartment is ready!!

A true gem in the heart of Budapest! As someone who travels frequently and stays in many high-end hotels, including world-renowned luxury establishments and palaces, I must say that Balthazar Boutique Hotel is a rare gem, a place where refinement, human warmth, and attention to detail come together in perfect harmony. From the moment I arrived, the experience was exceptional, starting with an incredibly welcoming and personalized check-in. The manager and front desk staff were genuinely kind, friendly, attentive, and truly dedicated to making me feel welcome. Everything was seamless, with thoughtful follow-up all the way to the room. You feel seen, cared for, and truly valued as a guest. The room itself was unique, elegant, extremely clean, and exceptionally comfortable. As a very demanding traveler, I pay close attention to details, and I must commend the hotel for its outstanding cleanliness and maintenance, from the pristine shower joints to the shining plumbing, with absolutely no signs of mold. All of this paired with high-quality L’Occitane bath products was a lovely touch of luxury. The bedding was excellent, offering a truly restful and restorative night’s sleep. Every detail is carefully thought out for the guest’s comfort and well-being. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the staff. The bartender, the waiters and waitresses, the front desk team, the restaurant crew, every single person is kind, passionate, professional, and genuinely attentive. They love what they do, and it shows. Need advice, a product, or help finding something specific? They go out of their way to assist with patience, empathy, and care. Their dedication is inspiring and sets a standard that many hotels in Europe should look up to. The hotel’s restaurant also deserves the highest praise. The food is outstanding, flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Compliments to the chef and the entire kitchen team for delivering such a refined and delicious experience. In short, Balthazar Boutique Hotel is not just a place to stay, it’s a heartwarming, luxurious experience, and I recommend it without hesitation. I’m genuinely grateful I chose this hotel, and I will absolutely return next time I’m in Budapest. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team, you are a shining example of what hospitality should be!

The beautiful baltazar March 2025 Wow what an incredible hotel! From the very start, our stay at the beautiful Baltazar was seamless. Service ***** They called ahead of time to tell us we could check in early. The room was super spacious and I’ve not had a nights sleep like it. The beds are so comfortable! Hotel ***** The decor of the hotel is charming and everything you’d want from a small boutique place. Location ***** This is by far the best part of our stay. Our priority was to spend time within the historic part of Buda. It’s in the heart of the castle district which boasts the historical sites and a peaceful rest bite away from the pest side of the city but still very accessible. Thanks again and we will be returning one day!
