Ban Talay Khaw T26 4 Beds

My wife and I stayed at the Baan Talay Resort last year. We had a spectacular time. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel always felt safe, the restaurant's food was great, and the location was perfect. Highly recommend! A must stay if in Koh Samui

Very beautiful resort with private island and gorgeous cafe with sea view. Set on the chaweng beach with heart warming view which you can enjoy with their coffee. I would recommend having their cocoa. It was delicious, but tell them about how much sweetened you want it to be. It has private villas with sea view, which is breathtaking. A place you need to book very early, because it is fully booked 2-3 months in advance, so keep checking its availability if you are planning to visit Koh Samui.

The dealings we had with this hotel ruined our whole Thailand holiday for us. We arrived late In the evening to find that our room was too small for 5 of us we are two adults and 3 children. The 2 single beds were really uncomfortable and the king was expected to be shared between 2 adults and a child. Our youngest is 10 and I'm sorry but spending 7 nights sharing a bed with him is not my idea of a holiday. This hotel let our agent book this room through their site and that is wrong. We had to pay for another room for the whole time which ate into our budget so we couldn't afford to do activities. The rooms are all roughly the same size so there is no such thing as a family room. They gave us a discount for the second room but we had to bargain for that and this should never happened In the first place. We were offered a free meal but hey..we would rather have had a refund. The rooms stunk of sewerage. The room service was slow. The staff were not friendly. The hotel was too far from the main area and the taxis try and rip you off. The pool was good. Book a hotel with a large room if you have 5 of you . Not this one.
