Ban Thach Riverside Hotel & Resort

The staff were friendly and helpful but not so with restaurant, very limited menu

Pros: - spacious rooms - Good location (street food market across the street) - good enough service (belhop, front desk) - clean Cons: - wifi sucks - they require you to pay for the entire stay at check in FYI - Air conditioner is not very cold, could never feel the AC from the beds so it was always hot throughout the night - Once during our 3 night stay, the shower gave out hot water only 3 stars, would recommend

Last time I stayed in Muong Thanh and decided to change this time. The room is super old and not so clean. Same with restroom. I do understand they dont have enough volume of customers to keep up with cleaning service. I would suggest to re-clean the room before customer checks in, make sure the restroom is clean. Wifi is the worst part. Front desk tried to help me and change the room for us but the signal is not stable and my phone/laptop was kicked out in the middle so many times. There are not so many options to choose in Tam Ky and I do want to support my hometown, but to keep up with 4 star hotel - please make sure the room is up to date and clean including the bedsheet, the bed should not have a pothole. Staffs are friendly and trying to help but the facility is really bad. Breakfast is okay, simple. I wouldn't recommend if you are looking for a clean decent 3 to 4 stars
