Banksia Tourist Park

Pet friendly! Nice clean cabin. The park surrounds are well kept too. The amenities also nice. Except the laundry block. That Maytag dryer looks like a relic of the 1980's. The general area beyond the park, not so much. Cabin bathroom exhaust fan needs some more horsepower. Toilet paper scarce. No need for an alarm clock. The first flight out of Perth goes overhead at 5am. All up, a nice place. Do read the cancellation policy on the website though. It's fair but challenging in terms of its credit policy. You can't give an accommodation credit to someone else. Just in case perhaps you didn't want to visit Perth again within 14 months of your last visit. Just sayin'.

Reception staff were kind and helpful, but I was turned away despite vacant powered and unpowered sites — simply because I sleep in my car. It feels discriminatory to exclude travellers based on vehicle setup. Not everyone has a rooftop tent or campervan, and they shouldn’t need one just to stay the night.

As a guest in a caravan With our own facilities i am deeply disappointed by multiple things this park has to offer. For how expensive this park is. There is no heaters. Or at least fans in the facility and not to mention the rude individual (certain front desk Worker) si came across when i first checked in for my stay. I would NOT recommend coming to this family park if you have kids and expect unlimited wifi as is offered from others parks for any long of stays. For how expensive this place was for only a week I wouldn’t of expected they skimp out and only offer 700mb of data that lasted a night with the kids. The only decent thing about this park is something they dont control. The wildlife . Parrots and little QUENDA. But overall would NEVER pay another dime to that there ever again. Highly disappointed..
