Had the best time ever with BANS. Loved the open water course with Anthony and Mia so much that I (along with most of the group) did the advanced course too. Genuinely the best thing I’ve ever done. Anthony and Mia are both EXCELLENT teachers and put me immediately at ease. You can tell so easily how experienced they are, I felt so safe. Would recommend to anyone. The rooms are great, and really quiet which was perfect for getting enough sleep in for diving.
We (mom,dad and daughter of 13) ended our Thailand trip with 5 nights at Ban's. Choose this place mainly for the diving school. We got our PADI Open Water last year in the Dominican Republic and this is our first vacation to start diving. The hotel is nice : clean rooms, lots of pools and good breakfast. Friendly staff as well. The diving was incredible. All the staff at the diving school are super nice and friendly. The wetsuits are a bit worn, but that's probably due to the fact this is a very popular place. All other gear is in good condition. A very special thank you goes out to Vicky, our diving instructor. She made our first two dives so incredible that we booked her for all our other dives as well. She is very friendly and lovely and had a lot of patience with a couple of newbies like us. She absolutely made our diving experience fantastic. Thank you Vicky for all your support. The dives are well organized : a taxi to the pier, a boat to get you to the big boat and off to the diving location. After the first dive there is drinks and snacks and fresh fruits available. All in all very good.
I had a fantastic experience both staying and diving at Ban’s! The rooms are spacious and super clean. Got my open water and advanced certification with Jason, who is really THE best scuba instructor on earth. Super knowledgeable, kind and patient! Ofc big thanks to his amazing assistant James, and my incredible team, I had an unforgettable experience! Looking forward to coming back to get further certified and also explore the rest of Ko Tao diving spots!
