Our whole family checked into the Shangri-La Banyan Tree Resort on June 19. We were warmly welcomed by our butler, Zhuoma, who was especially kind. The other staff members were also very patient and attentive in providing us with excellent service. The hotel has a strong Tibetan cultural atmosphere, the scenery is beautiful, and it’s a great place for taking stunning photos. It’s definitely worth experiencing!
My stay at Banyan Tree Ringha was truly unforgettable. The resort is located in the beautiful Shangri-La highlands, that blends traditional Tibetan charm with Banyan Tree’s luxury. The spacious traditional Tibetan farmhouse were warm, rustic and filled with character — complete with handcrafted furnishings and majestic mountain views. F&B service was impeccable throughout. The staff were very friendly and attentive (Donma, the little girl and the local girl (sorry I can’t remember their names!)), always ready with a warm smile and eager to share local tips with me. The local quilted robe was a godsend in the cool evening. Breakfast was hearty with a mix of Tibetan and international selection. You must try the butter tea for a taste of the region. Drink it original, with salt or sugar. Don’t be shy to ask for top up! Banyan Tree Ringha is not just a resort stay, it’s a cultural immersion in a breathtaking authentic setting. I highly recommended for those looking for tranquility, romance, and a touch of adventure in the mountains of Yunnan to stay here.
My stay at Banyan Tree Ringha was simply excellent. The villas are really special, they are real and antique Tibetan style villas. They are really beautiful and particular, comfortable and furnished with everything. The resort is not far from the old town, but at the same time is quiet and with a marvellous panorama. The service was outstanding. Kendrick, in particolar, took care of everything. He offered us an upgrade, explained all the services, even prepared a surprise for a special occasion. He made the stay a perfect one, and us willing to come back soon to the resort. Thank you Kendrick for your special care, and see you soon Ringha! :)
