Bar On Vacation Resort Health Nature Culture Tours & Tastes in the Village

Our extended family had a great time staying at Bar-On. We rented the main building and another small house for 13 people. In total. We spent a lot of time together at the main building, both inside and outside. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook large family meals, and the outside grill and fire pit were also great for BBQ and smores. The kids enjoyed the recreation areas and played ping-pong, pool, and basketball. The owner was very hospitable and available- he also made sure we had plenty of coffee (we all loved the coffee machine) and other supplies. There is a nice local store within short walking distance - I highly recommend the locally made goat cheeses. The place is close to the beaches and restaurants, so there’s plenty to do, although I enjoyed just walking around the small farms and lounging around in the backyard.

Excellent place for a family vacation. The rooms were clean and designed for families with children. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The playroom, basketball net, trampoline and swings kept the children busy while the parents could enjoy the scenery and peace and quiet. The owners made us feel at home and were very helpful. Highly recommended.

The apartment was great. It's a large separate unit, spotless, with everything you need for a short or long stay. The outdoor space is very nice and there are play spaces for kids. Smadar and Amit are terrific hosts. It was a pleasure getting to know them. We'll definitely return.
