Barcelo Aracena

This hotel has a very nice location and architecture. It is tastefully designed. Its staff is very professional. They have many outdoor areas, but I understand why it is not a 5-star hotel, as it has potential. I think it needs a little more service. For example, when I arrived, no one helped me with my luggage. No one went to my room to explain anything to me. The restaurant lounge was closed. It's a shame because I loved the hotel and its view.

The Barceló Aracena is located in a very nice setting with nature all around. Rooms are spacious and clean, staff friendly. The only downside: they removed the plugs for the bathtubs, allegedly because they want to save money errrm, I mean water. They still advertise the bathtub in the room description, which is factually correct. But they rendered it unusable by removing the plug. It means you can't have a relaxing bath in your room anymore. Quite a shame. And not quite sure what in the response means they put the plugs back. Clearly, we still had the flyer in our room saying the plugs have been removed, and there was no plug for the bathtub in the room. So the statement in the response is... shall we be polite and say... "ambiguous"?

Terrible experience a smoky villa for a ridiculous price I booked a villa at the reception expecting something luxurious but got a smokehouse instead. The place reeks of burning wood and smoke. Either the fireplace is broken or someone is using it and the entire villa is filled with the smell of fire. It was impossible to sleep even with the windows wide open. I ended up with a headache nausea and a completely sleepless night. My health felt seriously affected. Absolutely not worth the money. For this price it’s a disgrace. I strongly do not recommend this place. Protect your health and stay far away from this hotel. And you go into villa number 10 and you will smell burning, cigarettes and plastic, especially noticeable if you turn on the air conditioner for heating. Try sleeping in such conditions.
