The hotel in general is new, the room are absolutely stunning, really clean and the staff members were very friendly. The view from the terrace during sunset is breathtaking! The buffet was good as well, but nothing extraordinary though! I had an exceptional experience at the spa. I stayed two nights at the hotel and indulged in a massage both evenings—opting for the VIP package. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated, and the staff stood out for their professionalism, respect, and warmth. The atmosphere throughout the spa is serene and deeply calming, offering the perfect me time during your holidays! A special thank you to Turgay, who guided me through the package options with such care and clarity, helping me make the most of my time there. One small suggestion: I’d love to see the wellness centre designated for adults only. The peaceful spa ambience was occasionally interrupted by the sounds of children, which didn’t quite match the tranquil setting. For me, the night time sessions was the best time to avoid the screaming kids —They juat unmatched in their stillness and restorative power from the spa! The foam massage is a must to do!

We stayed at Barceló Hotels Cappadocia for 4 days in June with my boyfriend, and the experience was absolutely incredible. The hotel offers every possible luxury and comfort — it’s stunning, elegant, and super modern. Our suite had a huge private terrace, a jacuzzi in the bathroom (in addition to a separate shower), and all the little details that make a stay truly special. One of our favorite parts was the hotel spa, where we enjoyed massages, the hammam, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. One tip: be mindful when ordering alcoholic drinks — in Turkey, they tend to be very expensive. The hotel restaurant is also on the pricier side, but the breakfast buffet, which was included in our stay, is totally worth it — a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, this hotel offers full luxury at a moderate price, and we completely recommend it. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel and would not recommend it to other travelers. Here are a few serious issues we encountered during our stay: 1) We arrived early in the morning and needed to leave quickly to catch a hot air balloon tour. We asked the front desk where we could store our luggage. The staff member was extremely impatient and dismissive, casually pointing us to a pile of luggage near the entrance. We asked multiple times to confirm, and he insisted it was fine. When we returned, we found out our luggage had been mistakenly taken away by a tour group—it had been loaded onto their bus! When we tried to report this at the front desk, another female staff member was just as uninterested, barely willing to listen or help resolve the issue. 2) I ordered a takeaway salad from the hotel restaurant, only to find out that they had no disposable cutlery available. Even worse, they refused to lend me any regular utensils. Was I supposed to eat salad with my hands? For a hotel of this size, this is completely unacceptable. 3)My friend accidentally left her glasses in the room after checkout. When we contacted the hotel to ask if they could ship them back to the UK, they refused, saying that glasses are "fragile items" and they wouldn’t send them. This shows a complete lack of consideration and basic customer service. Overall, this hotel showed a serious lack of professionalism and care for its guests. I hope management takes these complaints seriously and improves both their staff training and guest services.
