Barceló Budapest

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights in July. We had a wonderful welcome upon our arrival from the UK by the gentleman on the front desk. He ensured we had all the maps and information leaflets we needed and described where we were located in relation to the main sights. Our bedroom was presented well. Balcony. Shower room. And was comfortable and well valeted throughout. Thank you room team. We breakfasted in the restaurant everyday. There is a comprehensive choice available and omelettes can be ordered on request. There is also a wonderful young lady who has a desk in the foyer and is available to help guests find any information they need. She has the most wonderful smile and speaks English very well. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Barcelo and we thank all the staff we encountered for their friendliness and helpfulness during our visit.

The rooms are quite large, the hotel is professional, clean and they have a nice dining area, the breakfast is delicious and you have lots of options. The area is a bit noisy but the hotel has a very good location. The staff is committed and they have good communication skills. I appreciate their patience

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced. Rooms are spacious, modern, clean, well appointed, quiet. Staff at all times of the day are available, attentive, knowledgeable and conversant in English. Very good breakfast buffet. Fantastic location for many walkable highlights on the Pest side, as well as access to the convenient transit system. We were recommended here by Emerald cruises (also highly recommend them) to expend our river cruise by a couple of days in Budapest and we were very happy here.
