Barceló Bávaro Beach Adults Only All Inclusive

My wife and I had a lovely stay at this resort. The weather has been amazing, even though the weather apps kept predicting rain — when it did rain, it only lasted about 10 minutes at most. The room could use an upgrade; while it’s spacious, it feels a bit dated. That said, the facilities here are fantastic. There’s loads to do — definitely enough to keep you busy for two weeks. The staff have been amazing and very helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Steve, the marketing manager — he stopped us on our first day to introduce himself, get to know us, and share useful info about the resort and things we shouldn’t miss. He even offered better discounts than others we’d seen, so be sure to find him and have a chat. His English is excellent, too

We absolutely adored our stay at Barceló Bávaro Beach All-Inclusive Adults Only resort. What began as a celebration of our dating anniversary turned into an engagement celebration! Mabel Geronimo, the Premier Manager, was absolutely exceptional. I must have bombarded her with emails a hundred times, asking questions and arranging details for our stay. She greeted us with a gentle smile and provided the same warmth and meticulous attention that she showed in her emails. The food was fantastic, and the resort itself is stunning. I'd return just to experience Mabel's hospitality again!

We stayed at Barceló Bávaro Beach (Adults Only) and overall had a really nice experience. The resort is well maintained, especially in the common areas, which are clean and beautiful. The room itself was comfortable, but the washroom could definitely use some renovations. The shower has only half a glass partition, which lets water spill out and makes a bit of a mess. Food-wise, the buffet was okay—nothing outstanding but good variety. On the other hand, the teppanyaki restaurant was excellent and definitely worth trying. The pools were very nice, cocktails were good, and the overall ambiance of the resort was great for a relaxing adults-only getaway. The only downside was the presence of sargassum on the beach. It didn’t stop us from going in the water, but it did affect the experience a little. That said, we would definitely come back again, hopefully at a time when the beach is clear, to get another perspective.
