Barceló Cairo Pyramids

My wife and I spent 2 nights in this delightful hotel on the 29th and 30th May, 2025. This place is full of old-world charm with ornate lighting, panelled walls and a wide stairway. The restaurants are beautifully appointed with lovely paintings on the walls and opulent chandeliers above. There's even a gentleman playing the piano during the evenings in the foyer and he regales his appreciative audience with delightful yesteryear hits! The rooms are spacious and clean, the food in all the restaurants are way above average both in the variety and quality! Special mention must be made of the super-efficient Ms. Heman at the reception, Messrs.Youssef Salah, Attia, and Ahmed at the buffet restaurant for their warm and friendly service!! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at this hotel (Room#416) ! We would enthusiastically recommend this place to anyone visiting Cairo to see the incredible sights in this city!! Really nice hotel stay here. Clean comfy rooms, although I had to move once and the second room was quite small - but comfy. Good AC. Nice bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant had nice food and an incredible view of the pyramids. There’s an outdoor area you can see the view from or have a drink on although it was quite windy when I was there. The pool was nice and had a little bar and nice loungers around it. The pool area staff were helpful. I had a massage downstairs which was good and good value for money. The staff overall were friendly and helpful. Cash machines in the lobby were useful. Good location for the pyramids, though quite far from the airport. Breakfast was a bit limited. Overall a good stay here.
