Barceló Fuerteventura Mar

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this authentic Brazilian restaurant located right within our hotel in Fuerteventura! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and taken care of. The concept is brilliant – a Brazilian grill where they bring over a variety of perfectly cooked meats straight to your table, all bursting with flavor. There was also a great salad bar with plenty of fresh and tasty options to accompany the meal. What really stood out was the service – the team was incredibly attentive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Drinks were topped up without us even having to ask, and they were more than happy to bring over any extra condiments or sides with a smile. Everyone was so friendly, which made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. It felt like a real taste of Brazil, right here in the Canary Islands. With special thanks to Carol, Cami, Louis, Fatima, and Avril – you truly made our experience unforgettable! Highly recommend to anyone staying at the hotel or nearby – don’t miss it!

Have had a wonderful 10 days at Barcelo Fuerteventura Mar. The rooms were lovely and we spent many hours in the gorgeous pools. The Breeze bar next to the pool is a great asset to the resort, the food is really good and the staff are all so friendly and efficient. Special mention to Carlos who greeted us with so much kindness and hospitality every day, keeping everything running smoothly and making sure everyone has everything they need. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we hope to visit again.

8/10 Plus points.... Excellent transfer times - close to the airport Large, clean, sea view room with a huge bed, soft and hard pillows - slept very well. Sink and vanity area seperate to the shower and toilet which was a good idea. Good quality food, cooked and presented well, varied selection. Excellent quality drinks, presented nicely, good measures, not watered down Large, clean, heated pool, regularly maintained. Observant lifeguards. Varied, high standard and very enjoyable evening entertainment. Guests made an effort to dress well for dinner which was nice The hotel was centrally located for shops, marina etc Minus points..... 65% of bar/ restaurant staff were rude, unfriendly, miserable and slow. Queues for bars were at times ridiculously long and slow - need more than 1/2 bar staff working especially at the evening show. The waiter taking orders at the tables was farcical! Air con turned down quite low in restaurant and green bar so was too warm to enjoy. Daytime entertainment poor - lack lustre No music round the pool - lacking a bit of atmosphere Hotel needed a little TLC
