We stayed in a deluxe junior suite for three nights with our two children (2 & 10). It's really hard to fault the hotel. The room was superb and had diving doors to separate off the kids beds. Both the bath and shower was for two and had lots of space. There was a bottle of cava waiting for our arrival and water was replenished daily along with a different sweet treat every day. The breakfast was really good quality and there's a small bar downstairs in the lobby. The pool is small but was quiet when we stayed and there's a small pool bar too. The slide in the lobby was a really unique feature and the kids loved it! It was a short walk to the old town of around 20 minutes but there were plenty of bars and restaurants close by and the hotel is actually connected to the train station so there are shops, restaurants and a supermarket on your doorstep. Great for a trip to Malaga.
Sleek and modern hotel close to the city centre. With a 20min walk you can easily reach the cathedral, and in 15min in the other direction you get to the seaside. Very spacious rooms, especially the bathroom that had a huge walk-in shower. The room was very clean too and the beds comfortable. The breakfast hall stays open for a long time (7:30-10:30, during the weekend 8:00-11:00) and has good products. Our flight was late and we checked in at 1am, but the staff was instantly ready to welcome us.
Not worth the price unfortunately! I was with my wife on our honeymoon in Malaga and we booked the hotel for 3 nights. In general the hotel is quite OK - it’s clean, it has a rooftop terrace (although the view is not nice), the breakfast is good, the slide is a nice add-on. But this is where the positives end. For the price of over 200 euro per night you would also expect friendly and well informed staff. On the first night the rooftop pool was already closed but we were told by the receptionist that we can buy some drinks on the ground floor and take them to the rooftop. When we wanted to see the terrace, it turned out to be closed. When we returned to the reception to say that it is closed, they replied something like “okay”. When asked why they told us it was open while it is closed, the answer was “somebody closed it”, no actual apology or anything. On the next day I called the reception via phone to warm up the sauna for us. Suddenly there was silence on the phone, so after half a minute not knowing what is going on I hang up and called again. When the reception is answered, he literally shouted at me “wait a moment!”. He got somebody who spoke English on the phone. I wanted to book the sauna for an hour starting from 9.30 pm. The person told me that it’s only possible for half an hour. I said that the schedule we received in the reception desk says that the sauna is open until 11 pm. He said that we can use it only until 10, because somebody must clean it at 11. 2 days later I still don’t understand this logic unfortunately. Even though you already pay quite a lot for the room, the price for a parking spot is also pretty high. We were not informed about the fact we will need to pay for the parking until the check-out, but I take this one on me, because this information was written somewhere, I just didn’t notice. When we wrote a complaint e-mail, we received no reply at all. My recommendation is that you search for a different hotel. This one is definitely not worth the price. It is just OK but it tries to position itself as a high-end hotel, which it is surely not
