Barceló Punta Umbria Beach Resort

Hotel actually not quite prepared to handle with other guests than from Spain. Every entertainment was conducted only in Spanish. The same with information about it (bota written and spoken). The Hotel is huge, not quite impressive but perfect for the temperature and aura. Rooms and swimming pool quite clean. Food OK, but not the best ever. Solutions with drinking water - nice and environment friendly. The Hotel is conveniently located, ciosem to the beach.

Service could be better from the reception to the overall staff. They divide the restaurants into 2 shifts, so you cant eat when you want, and the second shift you start having lunch at 3 pm. Overall the space is good, its close to the beach, weather is great, they just need to improve the restaurant part.

First time on a all inclusive resort and I understand the appealing. Couple with a one year baby. Rooms were big and confortable. Rooms were clean but showers could go a step further especially on tiles grouting. Pools and outside areas were nice and tidy, with plenty of sun lounges, both close to the pool or under the trees. Bar close to the pool with great prices, so let me wonder if the All Inclusive is really worth the value, I think not. We had full pension and paid drinks outside the main value but even if we were full time drinkers, it would be impossible to drink the extra value 😂. Restaurant was changing menu's and was ok, nothing worth mentioning neither as good or bad. If I would come again? I don't think it's my kind of hotel but it seems to be for a lot of people.
