Barceló Tambor All Inclusive

We stayed for 5 nights at the Premium level so our check in was very quick. We also had access to the upgraded food and drinks in their lounge. Our room was quiet and directly faced the ocean. Convenient walkways led to the private beach. Honestly, the food was not good, with the exception of the Japanese restaurant that was great. The hotel offers access to many different off-property excursions and goes out of their way to accommodate guests. We really would like to thank Gonzalo for his support in getting us to and from the airport. The logistics for that were not as easy as I’d hoped, but we were well taken care of. Thank you for our stay!! We loved Costa Rica!

We travel from Florida 1st time in Costa Rica , and we had worst expirence we got there at night no body greeted us , no one help us with our luggage’s we had to take them ourselfs to the room personal are very rude not one of them was nice if we ask something they will get mad or just keep walking. The buffet doesn’t work they always have the same food and there is no option we couldn’t make a reservation for the a la carta restaurant. They guy that was there to help with tours did not gave us options and Basicly did not get us to buy any tour and very rude . We where there for 6 days and is the first time that we go to an all inclusive that this has happened. In the morning we had to go to the host at the Buffett and ask for cofee they don’t bring it to you at the table nor water. You have to stand up and get you’re drinks it’s seems that they don’t like what they do or they don’t like to treat people. The property and the pool are nice , beach has cocodriles. From day one we wanted to come back home we where there from July 23 of 2025 to July 29. I truly don’t recommend this hotel. And we have been to different all inclusive hotels in diferent countries and this has never happened and that expierence was horrible .they need to trained there personnel. That lady on the lobby that did the check in was the same one that did the check out very rude. Not a friendly personal hotel . Unless they only treat good the locals. To eat you had to do a line to get a drink at the bars you had to make a line. Very disappointing expirence.

Dining Room / Buffet Buffet area constantly had flies hovering over the food. Nearly every chair back had visible bird droppings. Frequently had to try multiple plates before finding a clean one. Many plates had large amounts of leftover food or sauces still on them. Guest Rooms Bed sheets and towels were stained and didn’t feel clean. Showers were dirty, drained poorly, and required wearing flip-flops to use. Overall Bathrooms were in poor condition. General cleanliness and maintenance were far below acceptable standards.
